Oregon libraries are critical anchor institutions for the communities they serve. Our libraries today have evolved into digital hubs, reconfiguring their spaces and expanding their suite of patron services to help bridge the digital divide in the communities they serve.
From offering workspaces with high-speed connectivity for students with limited Internet connections at home to facilitating adult digital literacy programs to hosting virtual community events and workforce training programs, libraries across our state continue to lead the charge on bridging the digital divide.

Library Connectivity Bundled Service
Choose Connectivity Rates that Meet Your Needs
Libraries across Oregon have variable connectivity needs. Our service provides a single port that supports connectivity rates of 1 Gbps to 100 Gbps to accommodate not just your near-term bandwidth needs but longer-term requirements as your library serves more visitors and offers more digital services that rely on fast connectivity.
Connect Securely with Other Link Oregon Member Institutions with On-Net Connectivity
Our service supports On-Net connectivity between our member institutions, enabling your library to connect and share data on a secure high-speed network directly without your data travelling over 3rd party infrastructure or the public internet. This means that library staff and visitors can exchange data securely with any of our other member institutions, which may include other libraries, K-12 schools, Education Service Districts, community colleges and 4-year universities, and local and state government entities.
Establish Multi-Branch Library Networking & Disaster Recovery with Ethernet Transport Service
For multi-branch library systems, our bundled service for libraries includes high-speed Layer 2 Ethernet transport capabilities that supports up to 100 Gbps transit between two locations, such as a branch location on a library’s existing WAN architecture. This also enables libraries to establish direct connection between two sites for data replication/recovery, protecting their online catalogs and data from permanent loss.
